It’s been awhile since I had eaten Indian and when it was about finding the restaurant in our next outing with my girlfriends, we thought we would go back into the Indian district of Paris. And my girlfriend who used to go in the neighborhood driven us to a restaurant that we did not know and that is 2 steps from our usual restaurant.

Coffee Anjapper – Indian food

Taste of the meak No starter for me but a cheese nan (how to avoid it huh?) to accompany my chicken Korma which was not bad at all. And the sauce goes very well with my white rice and my cheese nan. By consI found my nan not very full of cheese.

Around the table, there were rolls, chicken tikka masala and lamb kebab. Overall, it was pretty good.

Setting If you want a change of scenery, you won’t be desappointed in the restaurant where there is paneling on the walls, Indian carvings and also Indian music in the background.

Service RAS si ce n’est qu’on a un peu galéré pour payer avec un jeune serveur qui ne comprenait pas bien ce qu’on lui disait et qui a ben tardé à nous rendre la monnaie.

Price I used to say that going to community neighborhoods allowed to pay a little less, well there was not really the case. For my part with a main course, a cheese nan and an ice cream, I paid 16.90€ which is quite expensive compared to menus from € 8 or 9 at Dishny restaurant’s located 50m.

Conclusion It was good, but really expensive for the area. Again, you can eat as well for much cheaper. After the restaurant is less than Dishny eg canteen but is that the decor justifies the price difference?

Recommendation’s rate : 3/5

Coffee Anjapper 20 rue Cail – 75010 Paris
